Le suore consacrate, le persone consacrate alla preghiera – siano di qualsiasi confessione – sono a sostegno del popolo di Dio." (The Vatican's English translation: "I am also thinking about the Orthodox nuns of the Lavra in Kiev. I call on the parties at war to respect religious places. Consecrated sisters, people consecrated to prayer, from any Confession, are a support to the People of God.")
