God bless sweet Max and may our Blessed Mother give JD and Kate comfort and strength. May St. Maximillian intercede for you all for a grand homecoming tomorrow.
JD stay focused on him while he is in the hospital and don’t worry about us. Still subscribing !!! And praying . My wife was once in the hospital for 12 days or so with a very scary hard to diagnose condition. It was a great hospital but the “handoffs” between all the medical staff had to be watched . It was good I was there
I’m sorry, Mr Flynn, I’ve been where you are. I won’t confess to know exactly what you’re going through, but being in the hospital while you watch your child struggle through illness and treatment takes a special kind of courage. May you and your wife be blessed with a double portion of that courage and hope, and may your son heal quickly.
(I remember offering my suffering for not only my family, but the families of the kids with cancer who shared our floor. It probably didn’t do a lot of good because I’m terrible at suffering. It was a very dark time for us.)
I'm so sorry to hear about poor Max, being in the hospital is just awful, and now poor Pia is sick too. Parenting is not for the faint of heart. Be assured of my prayers for your whole family.
Like many others I’m sure, I scrolled past the news to get to the update on Max first ❤️
JD really should know better than to bury the lede like that!
Yep.
same
Oh JD! I’m so sorry. I’m praying for your entire family. There is nothing worse than a hospitalized child. Hoping you can head home tomorrow.
Continuing to pray for Max, and for your whole family.

God uses our rags and turns them into magnificent things. You did more than you know just by being willing to try.
Prayers for your sweet boy, and for you all.

Doctors, most of them, mean to do good and to do it well. The ability to communicate well, on the other hand, eh, they may not have so much of this.
The beard changes but the face remains identifiable.
God bless you and your family.
Prayers for the healing of Max and Pia! I assume you were being punny by your assumption that he would go home on the 15th.
That’s a pretty big assumption.
Praying for Max and the Flynn family. Thank you for the excellent work of The Pillar.
My struggles, my Masses, my Adoration this week for the Flynn family.
