There are too many "cafeteria Catholics" in the parishes that might be offended by his words that many diocese consider discussion of certain topics of the faith off limits. I suspect JPII's Theology of the Body is one of those topics.

This assumption lacks the recognition that "cafeteria Catholics" also exist in "conservative Catholic" circles as well.
