Thank you. Not sure what to make of it but that was an interesting read nevertheless.

My family has visited twice. It is a humble, peaceful shrine that deserves wider recognition and visits. Thank you for this article. The story is beautifully told.

I made a pilgrimage to this shrine a few years ago to ask Our Lady for healing from my mental illness. Praying there is powerful, and I felt Our Lady’s presence as I prayed there. I highly recommend all American and Canadian Catholics make a pilgrimage to this shrine at least once in their lifetimes. It is definitely worth it.

This is a gem here in Wisconsin and I hope this article inspires people to make a trip to Green Bay and Champion!

The shrine was first described to me as a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ kind of place and it’s so true. Fields and fields and then this relatively small shrine. A beautifully humble spot. The miraculous events of the devastating and deadly fire left a particularly strong impact on me considering the heat that, on its own, would have and should have normally consumed the wooden fence that surrounds the property. Our Lady’s message is an evergreen one to be sure.

I need to go back!

Thanks for a wonderful article. I have visited the Marian shrines in Portland, Oregon and Carey, Ohio, but neither are associated with apparitions. There used to be hundreds of Marian shrines across England in the Ages of Faith and some survive or have been restored. Our little local restored shrine of Our Lady of Caversham, 40 miles west of London, attracts pilgrims on a very modest scale. It has a long way to go before it rivals Walsingham, never mind Lourdes or Guadeloupe.

The Lord works in mysterious ways. This statement is just basically true.

Packer fans will no doubt recall that the last time the Pack won the Super Bowl was in 2010, the same year Bishop Ricken gave his approval to the apparitions of Our Lady of CHAMPION! Coincidence? I think not! But seriously, we love visiting the shrine and only heard of it recently as well, having lived within two hours of Green Bay all our lives!

I've had Wisconsin on my list of places to visit for a long time (too long), with the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help (as I had come to know it) near the top of reasons why. I still hope to get there one day soon. Our Lady of Champion, pray for us.
