How many miles do they walk vs drive? Is there any data on that?

For blisters get something called Second Skin which used to be carried by Osco Drugstores and can probably be found online, cut off an appropriate piece, and attach it with micropore tape. Some people prefer to just use microphone tape over the blisters.

I was also given cloths prayed over by members of a church which really helped my blisters.

This is a great reminder. Now I am thinking about prayer in conjunction with hydration as a necessity of life: Drink often and before you are thirsty; and pray often and before you are figuratively thirsty.

How awesome! Two of my brother seminarians from St. Patrick's Seminary in Menlo Park, California are doing this same thing from San Francisco! What an amazing opportunity and blessing for these perpetual pilgrims! Enjoy...I'm praying for all of you!

I'm excited to carry our parish banner when the procession comes through Louisville. 2 hr 45 min drive to take part but I'm going to make a a mini pilgrimage out of it.
