It must be a strange idea of leadership and decision making indeed to think that those who possess "motherliness, ability to suffer, and warm-heartedness" are not already leaders and decision makers.

Woman have been a part of the church for years. The previous Catholic nuns were the teachers, nurses and first evangelist of the church.. This is an argument about PRIDE. No one in the church should be in search of a better leadership position. It is in humility and mercy of that we attain our reward. A little humility would serve well here. The female doctors of the CHurch and Mother Teresa should be the example for this SYNOD.
