It was a blast in person, especially in my section of the bar with JD’s riotous friend Mark.
I met an engineer from Terre Haute, IN, who came up just for the live show and, like me, feels strange at the end of the week when there’s no new podcast.

There was a second story regarding the unnamed cardinal that was even funnier (and just as innocent) as the first. As I don’t know why it was omitted, I won’t spoil it-but this post is a reminder to those who were there.
Also, as Bishop Cozzens was leaving, the guys made the comment that even though Bishop Cozzens was a Pillar reader in a good way now, they’d still be watching him. It was said in a jovial spirit, but it’s true. No bishop should get a free pass.
That's so great to hear. I thought about going to the Congress for a long time but ultimately decided against it. Needless to say after seeing all the pictures coming out of the Congress (and the Slippery Noodle) this week I'm absolutely kicking myself. I hope you had an absolutely amazing time, and carry the fire of revival home with you, and let tell you: I won't be missing NEC 2033!!
