I would be surprised. I don't believe blue vestments are a part of the Roman tradition, though they are used in the Byzantine rite. We do have lovely gold/white vestments which use blue for Marian days though. I would love to see a Guadalupe inspired set of vestments.
It's not generally, but there are some former Spanish colonies where they're used for Marian feasts. And even in other areas, there are plenty of gold/white vestments for Marian feasts that push the line between embellishment and background color.
If the 500th anniversary gets blue vestments approved for the Mass, even if it's temporarily, I'll be sold.
