Also - even if this was just a careless mistake by a well-known priest, what is the point of the safe environment procedures if we allow an environment to be unsafe. What is ALL OF THIS FOR except to not allow the occasion for abuse to occur. If the Church says the standard should be high, we must be unwavering in holding it accountable to be high.
