Prayers for a swift recovery! Injuries involving regular movement (walking, writing, etc) are the worst.
The comment (caught in the video you shared) one of your companions made about Jesus falling on the road to Calvary made me smile. Here's hoping that's the extent of the physical suffering you endure with Him!
JD, I belly-laughed - and within an hour of doing so fell from the top of a ladder in the garden in vastly more comical style. A graze to the leg, a swollen and ridiculously sore pinky finger, and a valuable practical example of “but for the grace of God go I”.
A reliable camera operator never lets go of their equipment! As someone who's been the one who falls and, at other times, the one who records, I sympathize with both positions.
Also, I support your medicinal decisions. And I recommend a stylish cane.
The Lord has a plan for hobbling you before you are to attend a crucial event. May the change in your perspective bear much fruit.
How many whiskeys in were you when you tripped? Seriously, high ankle sprains are nasty and take longer to recover from than your body will tell you, so be patient.
Just after JD prays "and deliver us from evil" he falls. Coincidence?? The video did make me smile, so thanks for sharing!! Hoping it makes the final cut of the documentary. Prayers for Orlando!
Always look ahead when you're walking, not to the sides. My wife and I have both taken bad falls doing sightseeing when out for walks. "I like how they've done their landscaping at that house." And down we go. Prayers for a swift recovery.
To be clear, I am not *usually* a socks and sandals guy. I am usually a justChacos guy. But somehow, for a walking pilgrimage, Chacos and Smartwool seemed like the right combination.
Including the video is a boss move (and made me laugh out loud). It's unfortunate that the trip included some pain and inconvenience, but we love a humorously self-disparaging moment!
JD, having broken my metatarsals once and badly sprained my ankle on two different occasions, I'm sorry to learn that you didn't have a broken bone, as fractures heal much more quickly. No matter how boring it gets, please be faithful in doing the prescribed physical therapy: it will impact your quality of life for years to come. I promise you, you'll never regret NOT doing the PT. Godspeed!
term "gender-affirming care" itself -- a tendentious, gaslighting misnomer if there ever was one. Please -- in the name of truth, accuracy, and sanity -- let's call out gender-DENYING HARM for what it is.
Praying for your recovery JD!

I expected to laugh more at the video but in reality i feel kinda bad now lol
Why? It was funny.

Oh no! Hope you're ok!

The most important development from this video, ladies and gentlemen, is that JD is a Socks and Sandals guy...
(but, props for choosing the superior Chaco brand as your sandal of choice)

Which means you most be a non-toe loop Chacos guy
but of course. OG, baby.

I'm just glad there wasn't a bicycle involved like what happened to Matt Fradd.
When I read about the trek, couldn't help but think of Crossroads! Prayers for speedy recovery.
Of course! The best!

How I wish we could ban the ideologically loaded

The nurse in me was hoping for pictures of the injury instead of video of the fall 😄
I laughed quite hard and confused my family.
